Michalczak to Referee World Indoor Lacrosse Championships
 Congratulations to Rich Michalczak on his selection to referee the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships starting May 14 through May 20 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Richie will be representing the USA in this event. Again, Congratulations Richie!
Sportsmanship Award Information
It is the intention of the NFLOA to bring awareness to, and reward the sportsman-like behavior of players, coaches, and all those affiliated with each school participating at the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Modified Levels of lacrosse.
It is the responsibility of the coaches, players and supporters to recognize that it is a privilege to participate in the game of Lacrosse. This requires that the conduct of everyone involved to bring honor and pride to the game, the participating schools, and to the communities of all who participate in each contest. All of us should view competing teams as opponents, not enemies. This requires a demonstration of a friendly welcome, mutual respect, and a readiness for fair competition.
It is the responsibility of the coaches to teach the rules and to cultivate attitudes by players that demonstrate both knowledge of the rules and respect for the games officials and their duties.
